A WORD OF WARNING

After paying $60 per cartridge for laser toner a few times, I decided it'd be worthwhile to give one of the cheaper versions a try. Ordered this one for about $15; it came promptly and fits the unit just fine. Print quality is still comparable to the $60 cartridges after using it several weeks.

CAUTION:

I very nearly gave this one a one-star rating. After installing it, I gave a couple of test prints. They came out so smeared they were almost illegible. And let me tell you, I was TICKED! But then I pulled out the cartridge to look it over, just in case I had missed a step in the installation process.

Me: "Hmmm... Nope, everything looks as it should... except... what's this little black piece of paper over the roller thingy? The instructions don't mention it... It's embossed with a note that says 'Remove.'"

After I removed the mystery paper, the cartridge worked just fine. However, the instructions (at least the ones on my box) don't say anything about it. So if you do get this cartridge, keep that in mind and don't freak out if the first pages are smeared like crazy (in case you do forget to remove it).

Thus far, this cartridge is proving to be well worth the money. If it continues to hold up this well, I'll definitely be getting more.

I made the purchase without knowing whether they were of good quality since they had no opinion, now almost 4 months later I can say the tonner excellent print over 400 pages a month I have over 1600 copies and hardly begins to look a little clearly on the copies, take it out and beat him a bit and listed as new and the packaging was excellent not so expensive I got sent to Venezuela, I will buy again, recommend 1000%, maintain quality, Bye

Doesn't work like OEM

For the price, this cartridge is a good value. However, it DOES NOT WORK LIKE ORIGINAL. Crispness of the print is lacking and the toner does not stick to the paper as well as the original; it has a tendency to smear. I put an original cartridge back in and it works fine. I really notice this problem when I try to print on larger envelopes. The print smears severely and has toner "overrun" on it. I will not buy this cartridge again.
